BioHi! My name's Tanya, and I live in Pittsburgh. I'm originally from Chicago, and I arrived here in the 'burgh after college in Minnesota and five years living in the San Francisco area.
I read a lot and laugh even more. Love movies, worship my Tivo, and am equally comfortable (and happy!) playing minigolf or visiting a museum. I love to watch football and hockey, and I like jewelry, pedicures, and the color pink. I hate shopping, and I consider malls a level of hell that Dante forgot to document. I'm also a total night owl.
I lean towards the liberal side, especially on social issues. I like people who are slightly geeky/nerdy, but not totally socially awkward. Wide-ranging interests are good, as are respect and appreciation for human diversity. I consider myself somewhat classy but casual, and get along well with people who appreciate the arts but feel most comfortable in jeans.
In real life, I work in the computer software industry as a technical writer.
